Four states sue TP-Link over router security claims
Florida and three other US states have filed lawsuits against TP-Link, alleging the company misled consumers about its routers' security and connections to China. The lawsuits follow the FCC's ongoing ban on routers produced partially or wholly outside the US, which has blocked TP-Link from selling new Wi-Fi 8 models in the country. Florida officials claim TP-Link concealed its ties to the Chinese government and overstated device safety.
