Oracle Health breach exposed data of nearly 20 million
A cyberattack on Oracle Health in early 2025 exposed sensitive data belonging to nearly 20 million people, according to the Texas attorney general. The breach targeted legacy Cerner servers, affecting both hospitals and government clients. Stolen information reportedly includes names, Social Security numbers, addresses, and medical details. Oracle says no cloud infrastructure was involved. At least 29 hospital systems reported impact, and some affected patients are being offered credit protection services.
