Teenager breaches Microsoft analytics database
A teenager known as Faav accessed an internal Microsoft analytics database, reportedly containing 17 trillion rows and about 25,000 employee records. The hacker exploited weak user validation in Microsoft's Titan analytics platform. According to Faav, he used an AI tool he built, called Antares, to automate the process and discover vulnerabilities. Microsoft has not commented on the incident, and it is unclear whether sensitive data was exposed or exfiltrated.
