US and allies disrupt Chinese hacking tools targeting infrastructure
US authorities and international partners have seized domains and tools used by China's Integrity Technology Group to support cyberattacks on critical infrastructure in the US and abroad. The tools, Microscan and FishHub, enabled Chinese state-backed groups to scan for vulnerabilities and carry out intrusions, including against universities, utilities, and government agencies. The Justice Department said the seizures are part of ongoing efforts to counter long-running campaigns such as Flax Typhoon.
