Cloudflare adds native Rust and Tokio to Workers preview
Cloudflare just launched an experimental feature: now you can run native Rust code—including those based on the Tokio async runtime—on its Workers serverless platform using a new Emscripten target in the wasm-bindgen toolchain. This lets Rust and C++ interoperate in JavaScript environments like the web, Node.js, and Cloudflare's own network. Early tests show much better compatibility for complex Rust libraries.
