Databricks lets customers control Unity Catalog table storage

Databricks is now letting organizations choose exactly where their Unity Catalog managed table data lives, so you can store it in your own AWS, Azure, or Google cloud account—not Databricks'. You get to pick the storage location by catalog or schema, and can change it later as needs evolve. The feature covers both Iceberg and Delta table formats. This gives you more transparency and control over enterprise data.
