AI-enabled wearable ultrasound shortens breast cancer scans
iSono Health, part of Nvidia's startup program, has launched an FDA-cleared wearable ultrasound system for breast imaging. It automates 3D scans in about two minutes per breast—much faster than handheld ultrasound, which can take up to 45 minutes. The AI system, running on Nvidia GPUs, claims 28% greater sensitivity than standard 2D scans and generates more consistent results. It's now available in clinics across several U.S. states.
