D-Wave opens beta for gate-model quantum simulator
D-Wave has rolled out a beta for its new gate-model quantum computing simulator, giving select research organizations and businesses, including BBVA and Florida Atlantic University, a first look. The simulator is built on D-Wave’s dual-rail superconducting tech, which aims to cut the overhead needed for quantum error correction. Early users can now develop error-aware quantum programs through D-Wave’s cloud and SDK before the hardware launches.
- Beta gives early access to selected partners
- Simulator focuses on error-aware programming
- Built on dual-rail superconducting architecture
- Access via D-Wave’s cloud platform and SDK
- Participants include major banks and universities
