IBM broadens quantum and AI research in India
IBM is deepening its research collaborations with two top Indian institutes, IIT Bombay and IISc, to advance both quantum computing and AI. At IISc, the focus will be on new algorithms that blend quantum and classical computing for more efficient supercomputing. At IIT Bombay, the teams will work on large AI models tailored for Indian languages, AI infrastructure, and advanced knowledge retrieval. IBM brings its quantum hardware and cloud tech to both projects.
