Quobly and SiPearl team up on quantum-classical integration
French quantum startup Quobly and European chip designer SiPearl have agreed to explore linking their technologies. They’ll test how SiPearl’s energy-efficient Rhea1 CPUs and Seine server work with Quobly’s silicon spin quantum processors, aiming for a European-built hybrid computing system. The partnership’s next steps include optimizing joint hardware for quantum-classical workloads and possibly teaming up on European funding applications.
- Non-exclusive partnership covers CPU-QPU integration
- Testing starts with SiPearl’s Rhea1 CPU, Seine server
- Quobly provides silicon spin quantum processors
- Future aim includes hybrid quantum-HPC architectures
- Will coordinate on responses to EU technology funding
