Quobly gains access to FAMES pilot line for quantum processor scaling
French startup Quobly is getting direct use of the FAMES Pilot Line — a European semiconductor facility — to prototype key parts of its next-generation silicon quantum processors. This deal expands Quobly’s longstanding collaboration with research institute CEA-Leti and complements its commercial work with STMicroelectronics. The FAMES infrastructure lets Quobly test 3D integration and control layers on 300 mm chips, aiming for its first commercial quantum processor, Alloy Pioneer, by late 2026.
- Quobly gets full access to FAMES Pilot Line in Grenoble
- Partnership expands joint work with CEA-Leti
- Supports scaling spin-qubit arrays on 300 mm FD-SOI chips
- Aims for commercial Alloy Pioneer quantum chip by late 2026
- Targets long-term one million qubit scaling by 2032
