Google Japan unveils conveyor-belt keyboard as a prank
Google Japan's Gboard team unveiled a conveyor-belt keyboard, designed so the keys roll directly to your fingers on four rotating belts. It was created as a humorous concept, not a real product you can buy. Google posted build files, but it's unclear if a fully working keyboard can actually be made from them. This continues Google's tradition of releasing joke keyboards every October.
- Gboard Conveyor Belt keyboard is a gag, not for sale
- Keys roll by on four motorized belts with 29 keys each
- Google posted 3D-print and firmware files for DIY builds
- Official site calls it unofficial and unfinished
- Tradition started as April Fools', now runs every October
