Jagex announces new Unreal Engine RuneScape MMO
Jagex, the creator of RuneScape, is developing a brand new MMO set in the RuneScape universe, this time rebuilt from scratch in Unreal Engine. The project is still early and doesn’t have a name or release window. The studio calls it a major move for both long-time fans and the broader MMO genre. Alongside the game, Jagex is working with creator MoistCr1TiKaL on an animated RuneScape series.
