Meta unveils lightweight VR glasses with tethered puck

Meta just introduced Meta VR Glasses, a $1,299 device that brings virtual reality to a pair of 100-gram glasses—far lighter than traditional headsets. The bulk of the computing power sits in a puck attached by a cable, which you clip to your clothing. The glasses support 5K visuals, spatial audio, hand and eye tracking, and will stream 3D IMAX movies from Disney+ later this year. No launch date yet.
