Open-source PS5 emulator runs six games at 60 FPS
Developers behind SharpEmu, an open-source PlayStation 5 emulator, say they've now run six PS5 games smoothly at 60 frames per second—though none have been tested from start to credits yet. The emulator's update, pushed on September 25, improved compatibility and speed for 12 titles total, with small glitches still possible. Some heavily-demanded titles like Demon's Souls are running at 40-50 FPS on separate private builds.
