Starfield fan creates detailed seamless landing mod
A Danish musician and audio engineer, not a professional coder, is building a Starfield PC mod that adds seamless planetary landings—something players have wanted since launch. The mod recreates planet surfaces and atmospheres in detail, letting players pilot ships from space to terrain, even through realistic clouds and weather. There’s no release date yet, and it requires the Script Extender mod tool.
- Not made by a professional developer
- Realistic planet and atmosphere simulation
- Manual piloting and autopilot for landings
- Landing effects like storms, auroras, re-entry heat
- Mod is PC-only, no ETA yet
