Unread 5.0 adds smarter image handling and new sync options
Unread 5.0 is now live on the App Store. The big change is smarter image cropping: the app can now spot faces, animals, or text in pictures, and focus thumbnails on those, not just the center. There's also support for syncing with FreshRSS and Miniflux, both used by people who run their own RSS news feeds. The privacy policy now notes new server-side image handling.
