Xbox Disc-to-Digital Program Rolls Out to All Users
Microsoft has launched its Xbox Disc-to-Digital program for everyone—not just testers—letting you convert supported physical Xbox One and Series X game discs into digital licenses. The digital version plays without needing the disc and can work on both Xbox consoles and compatible PCs. Publisher participation is growing, with newly added SEGA games, though not all discs or companies are included. Xbox 360 and original Xbox games aren’t eligible.
- Program now available beyond Xbox Insiders
- SEGA games newly added to the roster
- 1,585 games supported so far, 205 still missing
- Only Xbox One and Series X games eligible
- Xbox 360 and original Xbox games not supported
