Inworld acquires voice AI startup Ultravox
Inworld, a Mountain View-based AI company, has acquired Seattle startup Ultravox (formerly Fixie), which built technology for realistic voice conversations with AI. Ultravox had previously raised $17 million and was valued at just over $51 million amid support from major venture firms. Inworld will use Ultravox’s expertise for smoother, real-time conversations in its own AI voice products. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
