Samsung invests $1 billion in Helix Digital's AI infrastructure
Samsung and its affiliates are putting $1 billion into Helix Digital Infrastructure, the KKR- and Nvidia-backed company building infrastructure for artificial intelligence. Samsung Electronics will invest $500 million; five other Samsung affiliates will cover the rest. Helix is focused on massive data centers, power grids, and fiber networks designed for AI. The investment is on top of the $10 billion-plus Helix has already raised.
