Sunfox raises $7M to grow portable heart diagnostics
Sunfox Technologies, a medtech startup from India, just picked up $7 million in Series A funding to expand its portable heart diagnostic devices. Their Spandan ECG units—which connect with a smartphone and let healthcare workers screen patients even in remote villages—are already deployed in about 60,000 locations across 20,000 villages. The fresh funds will fuel expansion across India and into new regions like the US, Europe, and Africa.
