TypeSafe AI, maker of the Jev AI model, has raised $870 million in funding at a $7.5 billion valuation, according to a Bloomberg report. The round, led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Sequoia Capital, gives the San Francisco startup a major cash boost as interest in AI foundation models accelerates. Jev is noted for its rapid early adoption.
