Cloudflare adds two European open AI models to platform
Cloudflare announced it is adding two European-developed open-source AI language models, EuroLLM and Apertus, to its Workers AI platform. EuroLLM covers 24 official EU languages and was built by a consortium of European universities and research bodies. Apertus is a Swiss-led model trained on over 1,500 languages. Both aim to provide governments and organizations with more flexibility and sovereignty over their AI infrastructure.
