Google hosts AI training event for educators
Google held its first Badge-a-thon, a 10-hour live event training over 1,400 teachers in AI tools for the classroom. Participants earned more than 4,000 digital badges by learning hands-on uses like creating rubrics and reading activities. Educators can apply the badges toward continuing education credits or graduate coursework. Missed it? Sessions are recorded on YouTube, and there's a toolkit for schools to host their own.
