India Approves ₹10,000 Cr Fund for Tech-Focused SMEs
India's government has approved a ₹10,000 crore ($1.2 billion) fund to help small and medium enterprises, especially those in manufacturing and technology, scale up and expand globally. The SME Growth Fund will channel money through alternative investment funds to support firms adopting new technologies and entering international markets. The bulk of the funding will target manufacturers, but service and tech companies will be included too.
