SpaceX in talks to finance $40 billion Nvidia chip order
SpaceX is working with Apollo Global Management and several banks to line up $40 billion in financing for an enormous order of Nvidia AI chips. The deal reportedly includes $10 billion in loans and $30 billion in bonds, with the chips to serve as collateral. SpaceX already runs hundreds of thousands of Nvidia GPUs and aims to more than double that by year's end. The financing could close by 2027.
