AWS releases Prime Day 2026 infrastructure stats
Amazon says this year's Prime Day leaned heavily on AWS to keep things running: up to 49% of Amazon.com's compute was handled by AWS Graviton chips. Over four days, Amazon's systems processed 59 trillion DynamoDB requests, 2.3 trillion AWS Lambda functions daily, and CloudFront served 2.1 trillion web requests. Compared to last year, container task launches jumped nearly 48%.
