QuantumCT launches New Haven quantum innovation hub
QuantumCT, an initiative from Yale and UConn, has opened a 4,500-square-foot quantum innovation center in downtown New Haven. The hub aims to boost quantum technology research, nurture startup growth, and train local talent. Backers include federal, state, and local industry partners. The National Science Foundation has already granted $15 million, with potential for $160 million more over a decade, if goals are met. QuantumCT also introduced a public education series on quantum science.
