Apple's Home Hub interface will offer personalized photo displays
Apple’s upcoming smart home hub will let you pick different photo displays—covering iCloud albums, shared memories, and more—as your main screen, similar to what’s in StandBy mode on the new iPhone Duo. Setup screens reportedly leaked online show the hub will recognize who’s in the room and swap widgets accordingly. It’s expected to have a 6-inch display with a distinctive square design and a metal base.
- Photo displays use iCloud albums or memories
- Personal widgets shown based on who’s near the hub
- 6-inch, square display with iMac G4–style metal base
- No dedicated App Store, but supports key Apple apps
