Arc Raiders update drives surge in player count
Arc Raiders just saw its biggest update yet—a patch called Frozen Trail—alongside a free weekend, pushing its Steam player count to 131,388 in 24 hours, the highest in six months. The update adds a new northern map, extra enemies and weapons, a revamped skill tree, and personal Outposts for player customization. Solo vs. Squads mode was removed from matchmaking and may return after a revamp.
