ASUS releases first WiFi 8 gaming router
ASUS has started shipping the ROG Rapture GT-BN98, making it the first WiFi 8 gaming router available for purchase. Despite the WiFi 8 standard not yet being finalized and no compatible client devices on sale, the router introduces advanced bandwidth management, real-time network analytics, and new reliability features. Early reviews highlight its robust construction and improved connection stability over previous models, even under heavy loads.
