Bloodborne mod brings path tracing to PC via RTX Remix
A hobbyist has shown a rough early version of a mod that brings advanced path-traced lighting to Bloodborne on PC, using Nvidia's RTX Remix with the shadPS4 PlayStation 4 emulator. Unlike past mods limited by legacy graphics tech, this proof of concept streams Bloodborne's in-game geometry to enable modern effects. It's not finished or publicly available, but the visual jump is obvious in demo footage.
- Demo uses Nvidia RTX Remix and PlayStation 4 emulator
- Streams Bloodborne's geometry for real-time path tracing
- Not a release; still very early technical showcase
- Other FromSoftware titles are getting similar lighting mods
