Heatsink Component Detaches from RTX 4090 Founders Edition
A user reported that a section of the heatsink on his NVIDIA RTX 4090 Founders Edition graphics card detached and fell off after he moved his computer. The GPU, purchased in August 2023, is now out of warranty and not eligible for manufacturer support. The exposed heat pipes and soldered joints indicate the heatsink was assembled from multiple parts. This appears to be an isolated incident, and the main circuit board was not damaged.
