Microsoft leak previews Xbox Elite Series 3 controller
Microsoft appears to have accidentally revealed the Xbox Elite Series 3 controller through leaked listings on its Design Lab customization platform. The new pro-level gamepad could offer Hall effect thumbstick options to reduce drift, quieter low-friction sticks, more customizable haptics, and a dedicated audio control wheel. Four versions are reportedly planned, ranging from basic to fully equipped kits. Microsoft has since removed the online references.
- Hall effect and anti-drift thumbsticks listed
- Advanced, PlayStation-style haptics may be included
- New dedicated audio control wheel feature
- Four configuration packages leaked, from basic to complete
- Microsoft quickly removed the Design Lab listings
