Microsoft to Fix Minecraft Dungeons 2 on Steam Deck
Minecraft Dungeons 2 can't launch on Steam Deck or Linux yet because of missing Microsoft Store components. Microsoft says it's working on official Steam Deck support, which should also help Linux users playing through Valve's Proton compatibility layer. Right now, there's only a community workaround requiring command-line tweaks—best left to experts. Players will have to wait for an official fix from Microsoft.
- Game won't start on Linux via Proton
- Official Steam Deck fix is in progress
- Community workaround involves risky scripts
- Problem traced to missing Microsoft Store API parts
