Sony extends AI upscaling to standard PlayStation 5
Sony is rolling out Quick Spectral Super Resolution—an AI-powered graphic upscaler—to the original PlayStation 5. It’s a lighter, performance-tuned version of the tech from the PS5 Pro, developed with AMD to boost image clarity and stability. Right now, only two games support it: Wolverine and Ghost of Yōtei. Sony says more titles will get updates to use the new upscaler soon.
