Kyndred raises €500,000 to grow AI companions platform
Romanian startup Kyndred raised €500,000 in pre-seed funding from Early Game Ventures to develop AI companions that interact with users using a face, voice, and memory—retaining info from previous chats. Their first AI character, Maya, already has over 150 paying users three months post-launch. The new funds will go towards improving Maya, building new characters, expanding the team, and growing their customer base.
