RobCo reaches $1 billion valuation in secondary share sale
German robotics startup RobCo has surpassed a $1 billion valuation, becoming a so-called unicorn, after a secondary share sale where employees sold stakes to existing and new investors. This follows a $100 million fundraise in January. The company's CEO has relocated to the US to focus on growth there. RobCo builds manufacturing robots and plans to launch a two-armed, self-learning robot next month aimed at industrial tasks.
