Trustly secures $40M equity boost after layoffs
Trustly, the Swedish open banking payments firm, got a $40 million equity commitment from two major shareholders after recent layoffs and a sharp revenue drop. Backers Nordic Capital and Alfvén & Didrikson are leading the round, aimed at helping Trustly build out new products using AI. The deal's set to wrap up by November 2026, with other investors invited to join.
