Deno team joins Cloudflare to advance cloud app platform
The Deno team, known for their work on JavaScript runtimes, is joining Cloudflare to help develop Cloudflare Workers—the company's platform for running serverless applications globally. Cloudflare says this wasn't about eliminating competition, and that their architecture is intentionally different for better performance and scale, not to lock in users. Deno's expertise should help Cloudflare push their platform even further.
