Kioxia launches massive 122.88TB SSDs for data centers
Kioxia just announced a new line of solid-state drives for hyperscale data centers, the LD4 series. These E1.L form factor SSDs hold up to 122.88TB each, using QLC flash built on Kioxia's 8th-gen BiCS technology. They're built for read-heavy jobs—think AI data storage or object repositories—and are sampling now, with initial models at 15.36TB and 30.72TB available to early customers.
