Delhi slashed power grid losses over past 25 years
Delhi managed to drive down electricity loss from around 50% to just 5% over the last 25 years, according to an electrical engineer who witnessed the changes. This turnaround involved coordinated action across multiple government agencies, infrastructure upgrades, and regulatory reform. Other regions like Singapore and Georgia also shrank losses, but many places from Jamaica to Argentina still struggle with theft and outdated grids, losing over 20% of generated power.
