Make-A-Wish taps Salesforce AI to boost wish capacity
Make-A-Wish is using AI tools from Salesforce to handle more wish requests for seriously ill children. Salesforce invested $3 million and provided tech, including its AI features, volunteers, and enhanced licenses, aiming to help the charity reach more of the eligible kids it currently can't serve. The UK branch says they're only reaching one in 10 kids who qualify, so scaling up is urgent.
- Salesforce contributed $3 million over three years
- Over 33,000 wishes granted globally last year
- Enhanced Salesforce licensing and AI tools are in use
- Pro bono Salesforce volunteers support implementation
