Google Cloud Data Agent Kit hits general availability
Google Cloud has officially launched its Data Agent Kit, now generally available as a free set of tools that lets coding agents—like Claude Code or Codex—interact directly with Google Cloud data services. The kit adds new support for BigQuery Graph, Bigtable, and Managed Apache Spark, and brings workflow upgrades for handling live data environments. You can use it right inside editors like VS Code without tab-hopping.
