Google launches official Swift SDK for Cloud APIs
Google has released an official software kit so developers can use Swift, Apple's programming language, to connect directly to Google Cloud's services. The SDK supports Swift 6.2 and higher, works on Linux and macOS, and enables access to over 100 Google Cloud APIs. It’s designed for backend development, automated systems, and DevOps tools, with built-in protection against data races and modern concurrency support.
