Google makes Spanner Omni database available anywhere
Google has released Spanner Omni, a database you can now run in your own data center or on any cloud—not just Google Cloud. Spanner Omni combines several database types into one system and includes built-in features tailored for AI applications, like vector and graph search. Over 2 million downloads since launch signal strong interest from enterprise customers, who now get portability and scale for demanding workloads.
