Microsoft and Google back Apache Ossie for data interoperability
Microsoft and Google have joined Apache Ossie, a project aiming to let enterprise organizations share their data and AI semantic models more easily across platforms. Backed by over 60 companies—including Databricks, Oracle, Nvidia, and Snowflake—Ossie sets a common format so businesses don’t have to constantly rebuild the same logic for every vendor. Microsoft is already building Power BI support. Google’s specific plans aren’t public yet.
