Amazon launches early Prime Day tech deals for all shoppers

Amazon's October Prime Day doesn't start until next week, but the company is already offering steep discounts—up to 70% off—on its own gadgets, like Fire TV Sticks, Echo speakers, Ring doorbells, and Blink security cameras. These early deals are available to everyone, not just Prime members. Some products have hit their lowest prices to date, with tech like the Fire TV Stick 4K Select dropping to $17.99 and smart plugs going for $12.

Why it mattersShoppers don’t need a Prime membership to access these pre-Prime Day discounts, which include Amazon’s most popular smart home gadgets. This could prompt rivals to kick off their own sales even earlier.
