Apple debuts Mac mini with new M6 chip and higher price
Apple released its new Mac mini, the first desktop to get the M6 chip. It keeps the compact design from the last generation but now starts at $899, up sharply from the previous $599 model. The M6 chip promises much faster performance for day-to-day and demanding tasks, with improved AI features in macOS, including smarter Siri and built-in writing tools. Major hardware changes are otherwise minimal.
