Google Cloud launches ultra-low latency U4 machines
Google Cloud has launched its U4 machine family and Ultra Low Latency (ULL) Solution, aimed at high-frequency trading in capital markets. The system offers bare-metal servers, advanced networking, and sub-10-nanosecond timestamping for more predictable execution speeds. This setup combines the speed of co-located hardware with the flexibility of cloud, targeting firms that need split-second trading infrastructure without managing their own data centers.
